Hi, I'm Jill Wilde.

I'm glad you're here. The first step in our conscious journey is being ready to ask for help.   And here we are, ready.

I've always been good at knowing when I need support. Getting up the nerve to ask for help is another thing. That's where my resistance comes in. The ego shows up to begin the stories of "I'm not good enough on my own, why should anyone help me, what is my problem - has everyone else figured this out?"

We're all in the midst of figuring out how to manage our lives. And sometimes we need help. When we ask for help we GET to connect with other humans on a deep level. I often need to be reminded that this an honor for both parties.

What you should know about me: I'm not the enlightened one with all the answers. I am just like you - learning and growing each day from the amazing experiences and challenging trauma of my past. What I have done is fully invested in my healing and transformation.  This takes time and being willing to look at our past with new eyes and a desire to let go of the way we previously told our stories. Only then can we begin telling a new story for each one of our traumas, resulting in the ability to integrate our challenges and embrace the lessons we are here to learn.

I deeply feel that starting with knowing ourselves is a must. We often create core values for our companies, yet rarely have we created these for ourselves.  How do we know if we are in alignment with a company, a partner, or a life path if we do not yet know our own selves and what we stand for?  Several years ago I did this exercise with a mentor, Jacki Carr and it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

These are my personal core values:

Respect

Curiosity

Compassion

Community

Zest

Once I created my core values it became easier to make choices in life. I knew what resonated and didn't.

A few years ago I decided to take this a bit further and I created vows for myself. I realized that in our society we have created a norm of only seeing marriage as reason to create vows, as though this is the only sanctity in our lives. As though sacredness only comes in pairs. I decided to write vows for myself.  How can I know myself if I don't know what I am committing to myself?

This is what I wrote:

  • I vow to love myself first.

  • I vow that my happiness is my own responsibility, I create it.

  • I vow that I will seek first to understand and will validate others feelings.

  • I vow that I will approach life with curiosity rather than judgment.

  • I vow that I will speak with kindness and be thoughtful with my words.

  • I vow that when I am triggered I will wait until those feelings subside before discussing the issue.

  • I vow that my soul connection comes first in my life.

  • I vow that I will use alcohol and plant medicine only when I determine it will be in my best and highest good.

  • I vow to be honest and to live my life in integrity.

  • I vow to love deeply, wholly and openly.

  • I vow to continue my path of growth and learning.

  • I vow to live life with zest and to experience joy as much as possible.

  • I vow to embrace pain and joy and dance with them both.

  • I vow to connect with source when I am in pain and to remember all of the love that I am and all of the love I have to offer.

  • I vow to embrace gratitude in the source as it is the creator of all light, all joy, all blessings and me in this form.

  • I vow to remember the Goddess that I am every day.

  • I vow to be the light. To fully see and walk through times of darkness and to choose to be the light.

  • I vow to use my power to open doors to new perspectives.

  • I vow to release fear and anger.

  • I vow to humbly accept what is.

  • I vow to embrace the now.

  • I vow to choose to be kind, loving, joyful and open.

If these resonate for you, consider this a sign that we may be aligned to work together. If these values do not resonate with you, I believe this is a sign for you to continue your search to find the right teacher for you that you do resonate with. Whether we work together or not, I encourage you to create your own core values and vows to yourself. It's a path to knowing and committing to yourself more deeply. I'm on my own journey - and I don't have all the answers -but trust that you do. And I can help you uncover them with guided visualizations, listening to your own inner voice.  I also use ritual, journaling practices and self-directed readings to help you discern which path is in your highest alignment.
